Audio Frequency Response

The Model FOM1-MR has a frequency response suitable for voice applications. Frequency response of  a typical microphone  is shown in the figures below. Shown is the response to a white noise source. The microphone response normalized to the noise floor is shown. The noise floor is primarily due to thermal noise in the detector circuit. This self-noise is equivalent to a sound input level of 50dBspl.
