Product Return/Replacement Policy

At the point of sale, Micro Optics Technologies tries to work with you to assure the suitability of our product for your application. The final decision to use our products for a particular application rests with the buyer however and we do not warrant the product to solve the buyer's application need. In some cases we will offer qualified institutional buyers a short term test period to test some of our products for their application. All other purchases are considered final with regard to ultimate suitability of the product for the buyer's need.
We do warrant our products to be free of defects that affect their performance of the normal operation and lifetime of the devices. The electronics of our product drivers, including active optical elements (LEDs and Laser diodes) are warranted for a period of 90 days after purchase. These products will be repaired at no charge during this period when they have been used according to directions with our products and have not been subjected to external damage or improper use. Passive components including microphones and headphones will also be warranted for a period of 90 days after purchase when they have been used in a normal manner and have not suffered external damage or improper use. These components will be replaced at no charge during the first 90 days if they have failed during normal use. The fiber optic cables are not warranted for no-charge replacement because they are easily damaged by improper handling and rarely fail for other reasons.
